Meet Samira
The Heart Behind Sincerely Samira
Rooted in her rich Persian heritage and shaped by a life of travel across many cultures, Samira has always been drawn to beauty, creativity and the deeper connections that bring us together.
With two master’s degrees in Design and Architecture, she spent over a decade at leading architecture firms creating beautiful, intentional spaces. Then a profound spiritual awakening called her to leave her corporate career and follow her intuition to a yoga teacher training in Tulum, Mexico. Little did she know it would change the course of her life.
In Tulum she found a deeper connection to herself and the love of her life, her now husband. For the past eight years they have traveled the world together, visiting sacred places and energetic vortexes on a path of conscious living, healing and spiritual growth.
Today her art and design live beyond architecture: in the rhythms of nature, the sacredness of home, the nurturing of her growing family, and the intentional spaces and experiences she creates for others.

How I Hold Ceremony
Sitting with Cacao
For thousands of years cacao has been honored as a medicine of the heart. When I hold ceremony I prepare the cacao slowly, by hand, the way it was taught to me, and I keep the space simple: candles, flowers, sacred smoke and song.
Music is at the heart of it. As the cacao opens, Ashton and I sing heart songs and the room softens. I am not there to teach anyone how to heal. I am there to make the space safe enough that you can hear your own heart.
What a Ceremony Looks Like
- We clear the space with copal and sacred smoke
- We breathe together and arrive in the body
- Each of us sets an intention
- We receive the cacao with gratitude for the land and its growers
- Heart songs, music and quiet as the medicine opens

Mama Cacao
Cacao, Ka’kau in the Maya language, has been revered for more than 4,000 years. Indigenous stories tell that whenever the balance between humans and nature is threatened, Cacao comes from the rainforest to open our hearts and return us to harmony.
She reminds us of our connection to the earth and invites us back home into our hearts.
She Is the Earth
The source of all life, our home. She is our roots, grounding us in the present. Feel her in the rich, earthy texture of cacao in your hands.

The element that sustains all life. Bless the water you use to prepare your cacao and give thanks for its nourishment.

The carrier of change. Air rises in the steam from your cup, carrying your prayers and intentions to the Great Spirit.

The warmth of the sun and the spark within our hearts that fuels our desires and calls us to be our best selves.
Her Journey with Mama Cacao
How Cacao Found Me
My relationship with cacao deepened in the highlands of Guatemala, during an immersive facilitator training at the home of Keith’s Cacao. For weeks I lived with the medicine, drinking ceremonial cacao several times a day, learning its traditions and sitting in circle with Keith and his original apprentices.
Somewhere in those weeks cacao stopped being a drink and became a teacher. She showed me how to slow down, to feel deeply, and to trust what rises when the heart is given room. Ashton was beside me the whole way, and the songs we sang in those circles are the same songs we bring to every ceremony now.
I hold each ceremony with reverence for the Indigenous wisdom keepers of Mesoamerica who protected this medicine for thousands of years. Every cup I pour is poured in gratitude to them.
